Craig's Birthday

Craig turned 11 years old at the beginning of October so we decided to take him to his first Manchester United game at Old Trafford.
We started the day by getting up at 5.30am and flying from Dublin to London Stansted. We met my parents there and went to my God parents house near Duxford in Essex. My godfather Peter is a season ticket holder at Old Trafford and kindly organised tickets for us for the game against West Bromwich Albion. After the long journey up to Manchester we had time to look around the United Superstore, which was absolutely packed with people trying to get a souvenir. Craig had his birthday money to spend and so treated himself to a lovely watch and gold chain with the United logo on them. We took a few photos outside of the ground and then it was time to go in and take our seats for the game.

So we took our seats in the Stretford End Upper Tier and Craig's eyes lit up when he saw his hero, Cristiano Ronaldo. The pitch and the stadium looked amazing as we settled down to watch the game. When I say settled down, I mean rested our bums against the seats. The United fans stood for the whole game and sang songs about their favourite players (none of which I could understand because of the funny accents!) but Craig joined in at every opportunity!

And to cap the day off, United won 4-0......with Nani getting the last! (Great action photo taken by me!)

Mairead & Emmet's Wedding

In September, Suzanne and I went to the wedding of one of her very good friends. Mairead was the girl who came to London with Suzanne, back in November last year when the two of us met.

Due to Suzanne's "predicament" (ha ha) she wasn't allowed to drink so was in charge of baby sitting duties for Mairead's little boy, Connor!

The Liverpool and United rivalry even spread to the top of the cake.

A rare photo of the two of together. :o)

The girlies all together, looking very pretty!

So much to say....

Hey much has happened since the last update in .....AUGUST!!! Every time I attempt to sit down and post some pics, I end up doing something else.

Anyway, here goes....enjoy!
